Veronica Beman
Veronica Beman's interest in dog training began in January 2021 with the adoption of her dog Willa. Her training journey really took off in March 2022, when she began to assist other trainers throughout the Montgomery County, MD region with their classes and private sessions. She became a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner in November 2023.
Training Philosophy
Veronica Beman is a positive reinforcement trainer who focuses on setting dogs up for success and utilizing techniques to capture the behaviors that people love to see from their dogs. She believes in creating a peaceful coexistence between humans and pups by meeting their needs for emotional safety, mental stimulation, and physical exercise.

Private Training
- Monthly subscription for reactivity, leash walking skills, puppy socialization, staying calm around distractions, coming when called, and more.
- Day training sessions where Veronica trains the dog while the owner works from home or the office, runs errands, or rests.
- Coaching sessions every 6 day training sessions to work together to catch the owner up to speed with the dog's newfound skills.
Group Classes
- Basic manners classes for both adolescent & adult dogs, and puppy classes for the little ones.
- Puppy classes include playtime and are taught at Your Dog's Friend in Rockville, MD.
- Puppy Parties - 45 minutes of pure puppy play.
- Classes are capped at 8 dogs.
