Customer Reviews
Andrea D.: Trish is the best! Diesel my Great Dane took right to her he listened and actually learned! She explained everything she was doing, definitely recommend!
Jessica A.: My fiancé and I were looking for a positive reinforcement trainer as we were struggling with our coonhound mix Blu. Trish is a gem! She taught us so many different ways to get Blu to learn how to behave without it being based in fear. She provides you with everything you need, including a clicker for both of us, a treat pouch, and a binder full of tips and information. She brings a new laminated info sheet for us to add to our binder each session! We love Trish and Blu does too, he's gotten SO much better at walking on a leash, and never in a million years did I think I would be able to leave a treat on his paw until I give the command to eat it. Not only does she teach you so many different effective ways to train but to also keep your dog mentally engaged. Thank you Trish!
Jennifer M.: Trish is AMAZING! She helped my family and I prepare for the arrival of our golden doodle, Harvey! Our first night went smooth and Harvey adjusted well to his new home. She is very knowledgeable and answers all questions very detailed and with care. Trish and I began our lessons together through zoom, and I have to say Harvey and I were trained in a few short sessions. We continued through zoom until she came back to New Jersey, and then began our in person training sessions. Harvey loves when she comes, because she brings great treats!! I highly recommend Trish for your family! She is the best, and I am so happy we found her!!
Kelly L.: Trish was a lifesaver when it came to helping us manage and improve our dog's anxiety, leash training, and overall behavior. She always went above and beyond - while working with our crazy schedule. Because of Trish, our dog was able to be in our wedding!
Meg M.: Trish has been great with our pup. She has helped train our whole family ((including my two young boys)) on how to help our puppy have a good foundation. She is always available to bounce things off of and has been nothing but patient with us. We love her!!
Lenard B.: great communication. Look forward to working in the future with them
Linda R.: She was great. Came with a lot of good information about my new puppy, a breed that I had never owned before. She was patient with the dog, very loving. She had her obeying commands right away. Very, very professional. She was also available any time outside of the appointment if I had a question. My dog loves to see her coming!!
Margaret S.: Trish was a pleasure to work with. She showed me things I was doing wrong with the dogs, which helped immensely. She is great, and would recommend her.
Jackie H.: I can't praise For Paw Drive high enough!!! Her approach of positive reinforcement only worked wonders during our sessions. Maverick is a very athletic and enthusiastic dog, and training with Trish has not diminished his happy personality; yet his understanding and compliance of all his commands of sit, down, off stay, leave it and a variety of other words has increased tenfold. I strongly suggest that any owner who finds themselves not totally enjoying their pet due to behavior issues, contact For Paw Drive. Your dog, family and YOU will be happier for it
Louise S.: We love Trish she has made such a difference in our lives with our Bull Puggle Beau. We look forward to her visits as much as Beau does 🐕🐕🐕
Natali B.: As a new mom to a four-month old pup, I wanted to start him off with a solid foundation. Trish helped us provide this for our new addition. Her love of dogs is apparent from the moment she arrives! Sure she trains dogs, but more importantly, she educates owners so they can reinforce positive behavior. After Trish showed me clicker training and how to reward using positive reinforcement, I felt more confident giving him commands. He's picked up so fast! We can't wait until your next visit! Thanks Trish
Courtney R: Trish was absolutely amazing. she did a wonderful job with our family dog. I really appreciate all the time and effort she put in to making the experience great for both the dog and my family. We said we would use Trish again if needed, she was awesome!
Ted B.: Trish was great on zoom during this unique time.
She has helped our two dogs become better friends after some fights.
We will continue to work with her on advanced training sessions. She is great!

We've got the answers for your questions
Seriously, if you have any questions about training your dog, we have the answers.
We have created a directory of licensed dog trainers specializing in positive reinforcement methods. These trainers are not affiliated with Dogo, and all information is gathered from publicly available sources. Each profile provides a brief overview of the trainer's experience and expertise.
Start by evaluating your dog's needs and identifying your training objectives. Each trainer's profile provides insights into their areas of expertise. Match these with your dog's character and your goals to find the ideal fit.
All trainers listed here are certified professionals with extensive knowledge of positive reinforcement techniques.
Positive reinforcement centers on rewarding preferred behaviors, ensuring a pleasant learning journey for your dog. This humane approach is scientifically proven to be the most effective long-term training method, strengthening the bond between you and your pet. By consistently rewarding good behavior, your dog learns to associate actions with positive outcomes, leading to lasting improvements and a happier companion.

Simply click on the preferred trainer's profile to access their contact details. From there, you can get in touch to discuss your requirements and set up training appointments.
Group sessions offer a communal setting where your dog learns general obedience alongside other dogs. In contrast, private sessions grant focused attention, making them perfect for targeted behavior modifications or individualized training agendas.
All trainers are committed to positive reinforcement techniques and steer clear of any harsh or punitive methods. Their primary goal is to make training a joyous journey for you and your dog.
Results depend on factors like your dog's nature, the specific behaviors in question, and your training consistency. While many clients observe improvements in just a few sessions, it's crucial to be patient and persistent.
Reach out to the trainer you're interested in to discuss possibly attending a session. It's a great way to get a feel for their approach and see if it aligns with your expectations.
