Customer Reviews
- -Carol Ann Charrier & Quincy: Tiffany’s evaluation and instruction were just the encouragement we needed. Her intuitiveness and enthusiasm reflect her love of dogs.
- -Kevin Kern: It’s hard for me to board my dogs, but I know they are safe and happy with Tiffany. She treats them like one of the family.
- -Deb and Pismo: It’s so refreshing to work with a trainer who understands the challenges of handling a dog that outweighs you!
Tiffany is the best! - -Kyle: So glad that Tiffany is offering classes where she can share her knowledge with us. She’s great at translating her observations about our dogs into actionable tasks that we can do. She makes it fun for handlers to coax the behavioral result we’re after from our pups.
I get it that dog training is really more about training the handler–not the dog. What I like about Tiffany’s classes is that she creates an atmosphere where it’s ok to stumble along while we humans are learning what to do.
Thank you Tiffany for creating the curriculum that makes us successful. - -Amy T. Margolis | Margolis Legal: The Working Dog is the very best for dog training and boarding. From the home-like setting to the excellent training options there is no one we would trust more. There is no question that every dog feels loved and cared for while with them and we would highly recommend it to ANYONE looking for training and/or boarding.
- -Miranda Palmer: The Working Dog has been fantastic for Sebastian, our 1yr old Portuguese Water Dog, and for us as dog owners. We were specifically looking for a non-traditional boarding situation, and that is exactly what we found with The Working Dog. Tiffany and her crew provide exceptional care and enrichment to the dogs they board and train. We have been so pleased with their approach to Sebastian’s stays. We receive regular updates during his time with them, and he is always returned to us with a pleasant behavior. We know when he goes to stay with them it feels like his second home. We highly recommend The Working Dog.
- -Jana Langeliers RNC, CPN, IBCLC
-Rick Langeliers: It is my pleasure to recommend Tiffany Moran for caring for your dogs or animals.
She always has a great repore with the animals she welcomes into her home. Its easy to see that she really cares about them.
The dogs are able to be very active while staying with Tiffany. It’s like a home away from home for them.
She incorporates them into the family routine, exercises, walks, hikes, play and of course gives great snuggles while they stay with her.
Although we miss Zeke when we drop him off for what we call “Tiffany Camp ”, she is so good about sending updates & photos.
Zeke is happy to have a mom & dad break if it’s at Tiffany’s!
She’s careful not to overbook herself and care facility — as well as knowing the personality of her dog-clients
Her extensive knowledge of dogs & dog training allows her to give the care, reassurance and discipline — each dog and family needs.
We highly respect and recommend her care facility. - -John and Carol Turner: My wife and I first became aware of The Working Dog around the first of last August, 2023, under stressful circumstances. We had just learned that my sister had been diagnosed with cancer, and needed major surgery soon. She was 80, lives alone in another state, and needed our help.
We had a friend who could take one of our two dogs, but not the other, Darby. My wife tried all the boarding places in our area, and none were able to take Darby. We were growing more desperate, but then she found The Working Dog, and called them. She spoke with Tiffany, and almost immediately became aware of some of Tiffany’s wonderful, priceless qualities: she puts you at ease with her calm demeanor, her extensive knowledge of and experience with dogs, and her kindness. We quickly knew our problem was solved, a huge relief.
We took our dogs to meet Tiffany and Eric, and felt equally comfortable with Eric. They were both great with our dogs, who immediately took to them. Darby was with them for over three weeks, and loved it. They have large fenced grass areas for the dogs, and took her on walks and other adventures with them. She was part of the family.
Both dogs have stayed with them three or four times since, with both the dogs and us being very happy with everything about it every time. It has been such a huge relief not having to worry about our dogs when we have to leave them. Tiffany and Eric treat each dog as an individual, and followed our instructions for food and medications exactly. They sent us photos and updates daily. We couldn’t ask for more.
We wholeheartedly give our recommendations for The Working Dog! - -Kalindi and Crew: I cannot say enough good things about Tiffany and the non-traditional boarding and training services she offers. I have relied on Tiffany’s extensive experience and knowledge for everything from the invaluable advice and guidance she provided when I adopted Kodi (a rescue Newfoundland with big feelings and strong reactions) to group training classes and private lessons for Maggie (my younger Newfoundland with her own unique behavioral challenges). She brings an intuitive knowledge of canine behavior and a positive approach to training, which allows her to think outside the box and find creative solutions whenever standard approaches are not achieving the desired results. She truly cares about helping people and their dogs achieve their goals. As for ‘boarding’ (aka doggie day camp), I never have to worry when I drop Maggie and Kodi off at The Working Dog for a stay, as I know they will be cared for as if they were part of the family. They always return home happy and tired after a day of fun and enriching activities. It’s like their home away from home! Thanks Tiffany!!
- -Josh Knudtson and Jade Blakely: The Working Dog has been exceptional in regard to boarding our hound dog Blue. Tiffany send photos and updates regularly and often. We love seeing our pup enjoying himself while we are away. They truly treat him like family. We often joke that when we need to board Blue that, we are sending him to dog camp. Tiffany and Eric are very passionate about caring for and training dogs and it shows in how they perform their services.
