Stephanie Folkman is a Karen Pryor Academy - Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP). Her passion for animals started at a young age and grew as she did. Her entire life has been surrounded by dogs, cats and small pets. As an adult, she has experience working in a doggy daycare, vet clinic, animal chiropractor office and at a large animal shelter. Her years spent working through different parts of the animal industry helped her to discover that her true passion lies with +R dog training and bettering the lives of dogs and their people. She is also an ABC Certified Dog Trainer and Vet Tech Assistant. She is dedicated to continuously improving her knowledge and skillset with the most humane and up-to-date training methods. She adheres to LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Invasive) standards, meaning that she uses no pain, fear, intimidation or force to train. Her goal is to use her unique background and set of skills to improve your life with your animals by helping you create relationships built on trust, communication and understanding. While also helping you reach your training goals! She loves working with all different types of breeds and their people but she particularly loves her herding and working dogs! She also has a soft spot for working with households that have multiple species, she is passionate about showing people that cats and dogs can truly live together in peace and happiness!
