Name: Noreen Wall
History:
Noreen grew up with working dogs - mainly Border and Scotch Collie, Irish Red Setter, English and German Pointer and Cocker Spaniel. In later years, she acquired her own companion greyhounds (one rescued racer, one rehomed courser). Having made mistakes in the early days with her own dogs, she wanted to find out how she could do things better. So she started researching and learning and got hooked! This propelled her onto a new career path and she now works with dogs professionally.
Training Philosophy:
Noreen's approach to working with dogs is based on a few underlying principles: all interactions are Fear Free®, Force Free, Pain Free, Positive Reinforcement and Choice Based. She also works in line with the latest scientific evidence and supports the 'Five Freedoms' of animal welfare. She does not support the use of aversive tools or methods in our interactions with dogs. She prefers to foster relationships of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation. It's a partnership, a conversation. And as the foundation of all relationships is communication; the foundation of good relationships, is good communication.
Services:
Noreen provides Dog Grooming, Dog Training, Dog Behaviour and Animal Reiki services to companion dogs and their caregivers. She also provides specific training for dogs who find certain aspects of grooming stressful, or who will not allow themselves to be groomed at all. Positive reinforcement and choice based methods used only. No behavioural restraints. She offers training and behaviour modification services. She does not provide traditional obedience training.

Positive reinforcement centers on rewarding preferred behaviors, ensuring a pleasant learning journey for your dog. Results depend on factors like your dog's nature, the specific behaviors in question, and your training consistency. While many clients observe improvements in just a few sessions, it's crucial to be patient and persistent.
